Please join us as Kristin discusses her therapeutic work with Affect Phobia Therapy

Throughout the day, Kristin will explain the method and theory of Affect Phobia Therapy (APT) and provide illustrations, including a video segment from her work.

The lecture is intended for individuals who have an interest in practicing Affect Phobia Therapy or who seek inspiration to incorporate more affect-focused approaches into their psychotherapeutic practice.

Kristin A. R. Osborn is an internationally renowned psychotherapist, lecturer, and author. She is an Associate in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Kristin has been training psychotherapists and other healthcare professionals in Affect Phobia Therapy for many years and is the founder of Certified APT™ Training (Affect Phobia Therapy). For several years, she has been training Swedish psychotherapists in APT at universities and in CORE training. Along with colleagues, Kristin has written the book “Paraverbal Communication in Psychotherapy: Beyond the Words.”
