In fall 2023, a new Certified APT-Core training will start in Swedish.
APT-Core training is for therapists who already have an introductory training in affect-focused therapy and want to immerse yourself in the APT method. The training is experience-based, intensive and practical group learning experience. The participants meet for four weekends a year for three years to learn to use method and theory within APT. During the training, participants will develop a deeper understanding of their own emotional conflicts and how they are activated in the clinical work. You will also to create your own development plan as an APT psychotherapist.
After completing CORE Training, you receive a Certified APT™-Core Training Certificate of Completion and is qualified to train to become a certified APT therapist according to IEDTA guidelines. The training will be held in Stockholm by Jenny Svebeck and Kristin Osborn (who will come at selected occasions). Teacher in training to become a certified trainer is Charlotta Dybeck (certified APT therapist).
